Payments and Policies

Fees

Payment is expected at each appointment. If you are planning to use your health insurance to pay for treatment, please bring your insurance card with you to your first appointment. I’ll make a copy of your card and will file your insurance for you. You are responsible for any co-payment at the time of your appointment. I can help you determine your benefits and co-pay, and deductible, but it is a good idea to check this with your plan prior to your first appointment. I am a Blue Cross Blue Shield in-network provider. Other insurance plans may reimburse me at an out of network rate, such as some Aetna and Cigna plans.

If you have no health insurance or are on a limited income, I am willing to consider a sliding scale fee. I discuss this on a case-by-case basis with each client to come to an agreement on an acceptable fee.

Cancellations

Please give 24 hours notice when cancelling an appointment, so your hour may be given to someone else. Otherwise you will be charged the full fee for your appointment. Insurance will not cover missed appointments.
